Babylon Tattoo originally opened its doors in August of 2024 - its high ceilings and original features helped to influence the character of the studio as it began to take shape in its early days. Tattoo artist and owner Asha Tank wanted to create her own unique working environment based around comfort and practicality; a space where everything that the artist could possibly need is within arms reach and a place where clients can be as comfortable as possible to endure those longer tattooing sessions.

The studio is furnished with top-of-the-range lighting, beds and chairs to allow the artists to work seamlessly and efficiently. Only the highest quality equipment, machines and inks are used to ensure that artists can work to their full potential and clients can leave the studio with the best and most well-executed tattoo.

The bright and spacious space has a large skylight allowing natural light to flood in. A modern, calming space with walls full of artwork and plants scattered throughout. We love spending time in our second home - and many of our clients wish they could move in!

Although located on Church Street, our building is one of the oldest parts of the Spode pottery site and dates back to the 18th century. Originally a sorting warehouse built in 1770 with payroll offices and high street Spode shops below (you can still find the original Spode gates alongside our building). 
Now used as an artistic hub, providing a workplace and inspiring creativity for artists, painters, sculptors, designers and tattooers alike. You can also find a martial arts school, pilates studio, florist, apart-hotel, the Spode Museum, the Quarter restaurant and much more on site.
